Mandatory Requirement: All puppies must be signed up for the 30 days of FREE Trupanion insurance with code BR1PK1623 (or BR2PK163 if in NY). Failure to do so within 24 hours of receiving puppy or puppies will VOID this one year genetic health guarantee. You may cancel after the 30 day free period has ended.

ACCEPTANCE OF ANY PUPPY OR PUPPIES FROM PANHANDLE KENNELS LLC CONSTITUTES AGREEMENT WITH THIS CONTRACT

If you do not agree in good faith please do not place a deposit or buy a puppy from Panhandle Kennels LLC

Shipping and ear cropping are not a part of this guarantee and will not be covered.

BUYER BEWARE: Using veterinary services from Banfield Animal Hospital voids this contract in its entirety!!  Any documentation from any Banfield affiliate will not be considered as part of this guarantee.

Please read the following agreement. If you have any questions, please ask for clarification. When purchasing one or more puppies from Panhandle Kennels LLC, you are accepting this agreement that covers your puppy until one year of age.
To the best of my knowledge this puppy is in good health at the time of delivery. The buyer has 48 HOURS to have the puppy checked by their vet. If a licensed veterinarian discovers the puppy to be have a life threatening genetic defect, it can be returned for another puppy of equal value when it becomes available. No money is refunded. This is provided the puppy is returned within the three-day period and is accompanied by a letter from the examining veterinarian stating in what respect the puppy has a life threatening GENETIC defect. This guarantee is void should the buyer fail to have the puppy examined within the 48 hour period. Delivery costs to return puppy to breeder are at buyer’s expense.
Breeder will not replace puppy for any reason including but not limited to allergy, mortality, landlord's disapproval, disagreement of family, or any other problems not related to the puppy's genetic health especially ear cropping. Ear cropping is an elective (cosmetic) surgery & does not have to be done. That procedure is the sole responsibility of the buyer. Panhandle Kennels LLC does not offer ear cropping. Also not covered:  puppy's illness caused by neglect, evidence of abuse, exposure to weather, injury, choking, poisoning, etc. No warranty or guarantee is made to the disposition, life-span, size, color, show quality, or breeding quality of any puppy. Breeder will not be liable for any expenses including but not limited to any veterinary bills, shipping a replacement, or other expenses. Should a licensed veterinarian diagnose the puppy with a life threatening genetic defect, having been there from birth, the breeder will replace the puppy with a comparable quality puppy when one becomes available. Buyer must return the puppy with the genetic defect along with complete documentation to receive a replacement when it becomes available. No replacement will at any time be made on a deceased puppy until an autopsy is performed to determine cause of death. Such an autopsy must be performed by an accredited institution set up for such procedures such as a University Veterinarian or other veterinary institution experienced in this process. Autopsies performed by a local veterinarian will not be accepted. The autopsy will accompany any request for a replacement. Bad bites, retained or absent testicles, and hernias are excluded from this health guarantee.  No registration papers will be furnished as Puppies are to be spayed or neutered and are not being sold for breeding purposes. No Exceptions!!! The buyer must contact the breeder immediately upon discovery of a life threatening genetic defect. Any delay in doing so voids this guarantee. The breeder also reserves the right to have the puppy examined by his/her vet before he/she agrees to replace the puppy in question. We do not refund money at any time, only the puppy is replaced with a puppy of equal value. Buyer will be responsible for the shipping. This guarantee is null and void if the buyer fails to maintain annual check ups and veterinarian recommended immunizations with a qualified veterinarian. This guarantee is non-transferable. Proof of said veterinary maintenance must be furnished upon request of breeder. No guarantee is given for any kind of worm or parasite, coccidiosis, kennel cough, viruses,  or giardia. These parasites are all too common to pups and can be contracted from your water, soil, or boarding facility & they are treatable. Your puppy has been wormed frequently from two weeks of age until your possession. It is your responsibility to continue to worm your puppy and check for parasites. No guarantee is given for hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). This condition is not hereditary & is very preventable. Vaccination schedules must be no less than two weeks apart and no more than four weeks apart for a series of four. Rabies vaccines & heart worm preventive cannot be administered before 16 weeks of age with the exception of Selamectin topical which can be administered starting at 6 weeks of age. If you allow your veterinarian to do any of these procedures too early, your guarantee is void. Any dog that has sired or whelped one or more puppies is no longer covered under this guarantee. Any puppy purchased with the intent to breed is not covered by this health contract. All legal disputes are to be settled in county & state of breeders residency. Your puppy is to be spayed/neutered no later than 6 months of age as he or she is being sold as a pet only.  If for any reason the buyer cannot keep the puppy, please contact the breeder to help place him/her in another home & don't surrender him/her to a shelter.
